1. General Information

Reworded is an iOS application designed to help users study flashcards.

The app does not require registration and does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account identifiers.

2. Data Processed by the App

Reworded processes the following types of data:

• Flashcard content created by the user
• Technical information necessary for the app to function properly (for example, basic system information provided by iOS)

Reworded does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.

3. Local Storage and iCloud

All flashcards and related content are stored:

• locally on the user’s device, and/or
• in the user’s personal iCloud account, if iCloud sync is enabled by the user

Reworded does not store flashcard content on its own servers and does not have access to the user’s iCloud data.

4. AI-Powered Features

Reworded offers an optional AI-powered hint feature.

When a user explicitly requests an AI hint:

• the content of the selected flashcard (both sides) is sent from the app to Reworded’s backend API, which forwards this content to an external AI service provider (Google Gemini)
• the data is transmitted solely for the purpose of generating the requested hint
• the data is not stored by Reworded on its servers after the response is returned

The AI feature is activated only by the user’s direct action.

Reworded does not use flashcard content for training its own models.

5. Third-Party Services

The AI hint feature relies on the following third-party service:

• Google Gemini (AI text generation)

Processing of data by this service is governed by the provider’s own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

Reworded does not retain user-generated flashcard content on external servers.

Flashcards remain on the user’s device or in the user’s iCloud account until the user deletes them.

7. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:

• access your data
• delete your data
• restrict or object to certain processing activities

Since Reworded does not store flashcard content externally, these rights can generally be exercised directly within the app by managing or deleting your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will always be available within the app and on the App Store listing.
